‘The bothy is an invitation to slow down.’

Loch Riddon Bothy is small but carefully designed to offer you stunning accomodation, seclusion and the chance to reconnect with the great outdoors. We’ve partnered with the best local makers & artists to create a truly unique atmosphere inside the bothy for you to unwind in.
Inside the bothy
The Bothy is filled with original work by some of the region’s most interesting artisans. There are colourful textiles by Eve Campbell on the wall as well as a Scottish wool tweed covered sofa and a round table with 2 chairs – perfect for dining in.
The sleeping platform with double mattress is accessed by a ladder - which can be put away on a wall behind the door - and has 100% natural linen bedding with a wool filled duvet.
The spacious shower room includes a large basin and loo as well as a heated towel rail with Argyll Botany’s plant-based bath products.
The Bothy Kitchen
The kitchen has been carefully designed and equipped so that you can prepare delicious snacks and meals. In the summer months salad leaves are available from the garden together with fresh vegetables and fruit in season.
Olive oil, salt and pepper, Tiree tea, Argyll Coffee Roasters Clyde Steamer coffee and Gigha whole milk are provided for you. There are cafetieres for the coffee and a wee teapot too.
Outside on the private deck, the Weber BBQ comes complete with charcoal - BBQ utensils provided.
We have had a delightful stay - during which we got engaged! - in this beautifully designed, cosy, well thought out bothy. Lovely surroundings, lovely hosts! Will return before long, for sure!
