Welcome to Loch Riddon Bothy’s Accessibility Guide. We are committed to ensuring that all guests, regardless of their abilities, enjoy a comfortable and inclusive experience at our establishment. This guide is designed to provide information about the accessibility features and services we offer to make your visit as enjoyable as possible.

Physical Accessibility
Interior Spaces:
The Bothy is mainly on one floor with a sliding door separating the living area from the shower room. The bed is on a mezzanine accessed by a ladder which can be stored elsewhere when not in use.
Lighting:
There is one outside light to illuminate the path. Torches and a headtorch are provided to give other outside light.
Inside the Bothy there are dimmable wall lights with down lighters in the kitchen area and shower room. There is a bulkhead light on the mezzanine with switches by the bed and at the bottom of the ladder. In addition, we provide two torches and a headtorch
Entrance and Exits:
A 50 metre gravel path links the parking area to the Bothy. The entrance to the Bothy is accessed by three wooden steps. Bicycles can be accommodated outside at the Bothy or inside the polytunnel. A hose is available at the polytunnel and an outside electrical socket is located at the Bothy.
Parking:
Loch Riddon Bothy guests can either park off the main road in a designated parking space or can open the farm gate and drive up to park outside the polyunnel.
Assistance & Support
Service Animals:
We do not accept service animals as the Bothy is not suitable for them.
